For KONSTANTIN-EVANGELO the answer is definitely yes.
 
KONSTANTIN-EVANGELO winery is the dream of the owner and viticulturist-winemaker Helias Meletis that started as an idea in 2015 and took shape in 2017 with the planting of 3 ha of privately owned biodynamic vineyards in the area of ​​Kontariotissa of the Municipality of Dion-Olympos in Pieria, overlooking the imposing Mt. Olympus.

“So, in the shadow of the Gods of Mt. Olympus, there you will find us fighting with their appetites, trying every year to accomplish our mission. To fill your glasses with passion, love, history, and culture. We wish to continue this dream together and every year become a little better than the previous one, with greater wisdom and knowledge but always with the same love and the same enthusiasm for what we started to build from the first day…”

Unique terroir – Great grapes

The imprint of Dionysos (The God of wine-making) is strong in Pieria as it has been an important wine-producing region since ancient times. The archaeological dig brought to light grapevine trenches as well as numerous objects related to wine throughout Pieria.
 
In this area and more specifically at south Pieria – on the slopes of the biggest mountain in Greece Mt.Olympus, – earth choose us to cultivate with respect to the nature our unique organic and biodynamic vineyards.

 

The indigenous varieties cultivated are Xinomavro, Assyrtiko and more recently Mavrotragano. All vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic.
